This video is a product demonstration. My idea was to show the rig extending its mast, while music and shots come in, to later when mast is completely up, start doing the walk-through.

On this project I've done tons of modeling, animations, texturing and post-production.

I got the base model of the rig, which later I manually optimize for the 3D modeling software (basically re-modeled the whole thing), added textures, hydraulic fittings, hoses and hose covers, stickers and even missing sections in the model, like rubber tracks and more. Really interesting process, that I enjoyed a lot.

Later I did the lighting, cameras and scenarios to look like an studio, went back and forward with after effects, audition and 3D modeling to come up with the trailer video.

One of my favorite parts of this project was learning about the animation of the hoses. The stretching of the bezier-curves and the positioning of the bones to follow their parent while looking realistic, was a challenge. Accomplishing the hose-covers that look like the real ones was satisfactory. Other parts were highly difficult like the lighting.
